FAQ

  • What is concierge psychiatry?

Concierge psychiatry offers a personalized, comprehensive approach to mental health care. Rather than paying per appointment, you pay a monthly fee for ongoing, priority access to your provider, allowing for more frequent check-ins, communication, and care when you need it.

  • How does concierge psychiatry differ from traditional psychiatry?

Unlike traditional psychiatry, where appointments are typically scheduled weeks or months in advance and charged individually, concierge psychiatry gives you more flexibility and immediate access to your provider.

Your care is continuous, offering the flexibility to receive support, adjustments, and follow-ups as needed. We offer different membership tiers so you can choose the level of care that best fits your needs. Whether you’re looking for basic medication management or a more in-depth, holistic approach with extended session time and personalized wellness plans, there’sa tier for you.

  • What are the benefits of concierge psychiatry?

Unlimited access to care: With concierge psychiatry, you can easily communicate with your provider as needed, without waiting for your next appointment.

Personalized treatment plans: You receive highly individualized care, including customized treatment plans that may involve medication, therapy, laboratory analysis, lifestyle changes and holistic approaches.

Flexible communication options: Whether in-person or virtual, you can connect with your provider via phone, video, or text, making care more accessible.

Focus on wellness, not just medication management: Integrative approaches, such as nutritional guidance, supplements, and lifestyle coaching, which goes beyond traditional medication management.

  • Is concierge psychiatry right for me?

If you’re looking for consistent, accessible, and highly personalized mental health care concierge psychiatry could be a great fit.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Barnett Wellness Clinic is a private pay practice and does not accept any insurance. Instead, I offer a membership model designed to give you direct, consistent access to psychiatric care-without the delays, restrictions, or rushed visits that often come with insurance-based systems.

This setup lets me focus on personalized care, while still making practical use of your insurance for prescriptions and labs.

Superbills are available upon request if you wish to submit out-of-network claims to your insurance provider.

  • Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel your membership with advance notice, but we recommend discussing your treatment progress with your provider to ensure the transition is smooth and does not disrupt your care.

All tiers except Bronze may be canceled with 28 days’ written notice. The Bronze plan requires a 3-month minimum commitment due to its quarterly structure.
